About:
I was hired by Poul Riishide of Picture this Animation Studio/M2 Bangkok as an Art Director– head of the 2d department to work closely with him on multiple t.v.c (advertisements) for Lego City and Lego Chima Action figures.
My job included the development of screen grabs from his Animatic’s and push them in respect Tone and Color to improve Eye Flow and ensure the audience could focus on the Action. I also utilized existing art work as Matte Paintings and developed my own specifically for these projects.
I worked closely with Directors Poul and Paul Assawa the Modeling, Texturing, Lighting and Compositing Departments to ensure that what we had decided with the 2d department came through in the final render to much praise from both M’2 and Lego.
I thoroughly enjoyed this challenge and was fortunate to work closely with amazing talent in all departments.
Bangkok is an amazing place to live and work with an unending array of sights sounds and smells.
