Hi there my name is Ray Forkan and I’ve been working in Animation since the year 2000, here are some of the projects I have worked on.
I have a broad experience in Art Direction, Senior Color and Key Background Painting, Senior Layout designer for Feature and Series and am currently developing edu-tainment workshops on Art and Animation.
I have worked on projects for Amazon Prime, Apple, Netflix, Fox Media and Disney to name but a few.
Feature Films as Key Background Painter include- The Secret of Kells, Le Jour des Corneillies, Le Tableau, Tante Hilda, Maman Est en Amerique, The Long Way North.
Series Include- The Cuphead show, Bug Diaries, G.M.A.C and Pete the Cat.
Studios I have worked for include- Tonic DNA, The Cartoon Saloon, The Lighthouse Studios, M2, Studio 352, Blue Spirit, Finelment, Je Suis Bien Content, Disney.
I am always interested in funky projects and love to be part of a creative team working towards the eloquent telling of our story through Art Direction and Concept Design.
I’m also a dedicated Plein Air painter, maker of objects to draw and paint and have been represented by galleries in the past.
