About: After a brief internship With the ‘Saloon I tried out for and won a position on the Clean Background Team.
Using Traditional Brushes, Ink and a variety of pens we copied, traced and developed the pencil layouts with the final line style, scanned and prepared and them for use in Photoshop and then Comp..
An eye for Composition allowed me to contribute further with extensive Set Dressing utilizing existing assets. Further to this I was encouraged to combine and develop layouts, existing art work and to riff in the Celtic line style for the final scenes in Abbot Ceallaig’s Round tower.
It was a treat to work with such respected artists including Ross Stewart, Tomm Moore, Remie Chaye and Telman Morina. I was lucky to make life long friends there and still have had the pleasure to work with them now and again on various subsequent projects.
