Tante Hilda
I was invited to Luxembourg to work on 352’s slate of features after having worked for their co production in Paris on Le Jour Des Corneillies.
Production techniques-
Tante hilda’s style required much subtle digital manipulation of scanned watercolor artwork.
We used Brushes in Photoshop that emulate water color brushes, many Matte Painting and Digital manipulation techniques including Levels, Curves and Color Corrections to push and round out the original water color scanned Artwork while conserving the original texture.
We utilized thousands of watercolor dabs drips and spatters on multiple layer types to plus the textural quality.
Luxembourg is an interesting Medieval city to visit with a size able ravine running through it. A great place to sketch and draw.
Awards.
